2. Monitoring the Oceans from Space

As the name shows, this course is designed to provide an introduction to ocean monitoring Earth Observation (EO) satellite data, and its uses, types, and challenges.

This course is five weeks long; taught by three distinguished educators from leading institutions, Dr. Helen Czerski from University College London, remote sensing specialist Dr. Hayley Evers-King from the Plymouth Marine Laboratory, and the lead educator Dr. Mark Higgins from EUMETSAT(European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites).
