2018 REMOTE SENSING TRAVEL AWARDS FOR POSTDOCS AND PHD STUDENTS

Remote Sensing (ISSN 2072-4292) is a good repute open access journal published monthly online by MDPI. As the name shows, this journal brings forward latest research related to science and application of remote sensing technology.

Remote Sensing journal committee/publisher is offering two TRAVEL GRANTS (800 Swiss Fancns each) for postdoctoral researchers and Ph.D. students in the area of remote sensing to attend a conference of their choice in 2018. Researchers are invited to submit application through their online application system (useful links are given below)

The nominations and applications will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee presided by the Section Editor-in-Chief of Remote Sensing: Prof. Dr. Clement Atzberger.

Further details about Candidates’ Requirements are:

1. Applicants must be postdoctoral researchers or Ph.D. students involved in remote sensing and related areas;
2. Applicants will attend an international conference in 2018 to present their research (oral presentation or poster)

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

1. an abstract of their work;
2. a short CV with selected publications;
3. a short justification letter;
4. a letter of support from their supervisor.

The Award will consist of 800 Swiss Francs.

Application Deadline:

The deadline to submit the application is 28 February 2018. The winner will be announced in Remote Sensing by 16 March 2018.
